Where I used to live sunsets are an ordinary, everyday moment of magnificence. We used to drive to our sunset spot in our pick up truck and wait for the sky to turn orange.
Where I live now sunrises greet me everyday as I swing open our window shutters. The colors as magnificent as when the day ends. At the right time, I'm always excited to see the explosion of colors of a new day.
It used to be in front of the sea with feet in the sand. Now, I watch the sun illuminate yet another day with a cup of hot tea in my hand. The same pleasure, different time. Simple joys often neglected.
