"

bring me a piece of home

I called my mom to ask her the whereabouts of my aunt & her mobile number to confirm the little details of their stay here in France.

"We're already packing your bilin," my mom really happy that she is still on time before my aunts' departure tomorrow. "Your uncle is here from Nasugbu, he brought your kuyog from Calatagan," passing the phone to my uncle & I thanked him for getting me my favorite dried fish breakfast all the way from Batangas. "You have five kinds of smelly dried fish here," continuing with my mom...tuyo, dilis, besugo, kuyog & pusit plus two cans of corned beef (not to mention the etceteras I'm not told). We can now soon eat our champurado the way it should be eaten.

I was smiling, drooling & teary-eyed, remembering how good it is to be home.

Makis

From Manila to Paris, then to Marseille & to the Côte d'Azur, now in Singapore, clinging to a map of three worlds, where everything becomes all relative.

Apol : After we got off the phone last night, my french fry looked at me amazed & I had to explain your phone's promo & that we should always take advantage of it :) Check on the link again!

  6. Makis, sure give me a call. I can't promise an all out attention. We might be busy for the preparation. As you know, I could do it alone, but Manou wants to get involve so my time is limited to his free time. Friday might be ok. Saturday is definitely no. Syempre, I'd love to see you! So call, call me! Mwah!!

  8. Makis, c'est partout le greve! As I'm writing this people are rallying on our streets with lots of noises. But the police are keeping control with the crowds. Don't worry though, touristic places are ok, so you should be alright. However, di rin natin alam anong gagawin ng mga tao bukas! Check the news time to time...
